Apply Human First, AI Second
The AI can execute cognitive and organizational work but cannot take final judgment from the user or appropriate human authority.
Capture
The AI can execute cognitive and organizational work but cannot take final judgment from the user or appropriate human authority.
Why
AI may organize, retrieve, compare, and propose. The player, parent, teacher, or qualified professional retains judgment.
The same observation can require different action depending on:
- player history;
- teacher plan;
- physical condition;
- instrument condition;
- emotional state;
- performance timeline.
Why-Not
The rejected path would make apply Human First, AI Second too easy to treat as an implementation detail instead of a public boundary. The ADR preserves the tradeoff explicitly so later product work cannot silently widen authority.

Decision: The AI can execute cognitive and organizational work but cannot take final judgment from the user or appropriate human authority.

The app should not hide its uncertainty behind fluency.
Confidence: Medium-high for public architecture; implementation details remain private and subject to launch evidence.
