AI is a force multiplier only when the soil and seed are both already strong.

AI does not create strength. It multiplies what is already there. Weak soil + AI = amplified weakness. Strong soil + strong seed + AI = exponential growth.

Why

The Fourth Scar proved the condition by its violation. Over five months of heavy AI use, the operator's voice was smoothed, rough edges polished, distinctive elements removed. That is what happens when AI operates on content where the operator's governance is weakened. Cognitive theft happened at full speed to someone paying close attention.

The condition is not anti-AI. The same session that produced C2-013 through C2-022 demonstrates the condition working correctly: strong seed (operator's lived reasoning), strong soil (6 invariants as governance framework), AI co-produces within that governance and multiplies effectively. The stack recommendation in C2-023 is another example — AI proposed, operator evaluates, governance intact.

The 6 invariants make the seed strong before AI touches it. Operator governs, AI co-produces, provenance is preserved. That is the correct configuration.

Why not let AI govern the invariants? Governance of the invariants is the one non-delegable function. AI can generate surface forms. The operator verifies that all 6 traces are present. That verification is the irreducible human role in the YY Method's AI governance model.
